First things first, I own an xbox 360, I bought it because there were more games on the xbox... supposedly good games, I never imagined that these games would be more expensive than what I can get for PC. I also never imagined that it would have annoying hardware problems that is a result of the cut corners attitude of Microsoft. Oh and the games themselves are mediocre at best... except maybe fable 2 (Which I don't have).
Here is an example: I bought halo 3, preowned. It had this very slight scratch on it so I thought it would be fine( I have original xbox games with way worse scratches than this... they are preowned ones too). So I pop it in, start playing and it works, kind of. The only problem is the sound skips like when you have a cd player and stamp your foot near it. The reason why this happened is because the xbox uses a regular DVD drive, but essentially OVERCLOCKS it to allow for a higher capacity DVD.
I got the game cleaned at er, game. Now it doesn't work, so I will be taking it in later for replacement or refund.
Any other decent games, like dragon age origins, which I think follows the modern game formula of appealing to all gamers resulting in a dumbed down experience, are available on either PC, or the PS3. Think on this for a bit, and don't reply with any fan boy brainwashed comments such as "THE PS3 SUCKS AND THE XBOX IS AWESOME BECAUSE OF ALL THESE FEATURES LIKE AVATARS AND GAMERTAGS AND GAMER SCORES ETC".

What gamer am I (Me personally)
First off, let me clean my keyboard, I will be back in a few minutes... ok back.
Now, There are many types of gamers out there. Ranging from console only gamers, horror only gamers, RPG gamers etc. They range from all genres, platforms, themes and mix together to form one confusing mess.
Personally, I like to simplify things down to organise what gamer I am by asking myself some questions (which I will now ask myself).
1: What is your favourite platform for gaming: My favourite platform is the PC (windows PC to be precise.).
2: What is your favourite Genre: I like First Person Shooters(FPS) more than anything, this includes role playing games in first person.
3: Your favourite theme is?: Horror. Sci Fi/horror to be more precise, don't like those psycho killers running around maiming helpless girls/guys. I prefer zombie/mutant games.
4: Do you prefer linear gameplay or non linear gameplay? : I prefer Linear, but if done well, non linear a lot as well.
5: What play style do you favour? Rambo, Ninja, Support or Sniper?: I usually play support, but if need be I am capable of playing any style(although not as well as I do support).
There are some other questions to ask, like atmosphere (dark and gritty) but that is just overcomplicating the questions, and 5 seems like a nice number. So after answering those questions, my profile will look like this:
Nickname: Strange
Games on: PC
Fav Genre: FPS
Fav Theme: Sci Fi/Horror
Game Pace: Linear
Play Style: Support
Genres that don't interest me: RTS, Racing, Train Sim
Now that is out of the way, you will see a profile like that every time I write a review. It might be different if I have changed my mind, but that is unlikely. The tags down below, or labels as blogspot calls them, will contain the game being reviewed. It can be assumed that because I chose PC, I don't like consoles as much. However, I will still review console games so you can see how a PC gamer sees console games.
Thanks for reading,
Strange.
